This disparate collection dates from as far back as my student days, and up until 1998 when I was asked (among many others I imagine) to submit a design for the 2000 Sydney Olympic cauldron and relay torch. Needless to say, I didn’t get the gig.
Looking at these designs now, I can see how influenced I already was by industry and science fiction.
Some of the photos are tear-sheets from Vogue and Elle magazines as they’re the only records I have left.
